I love Orem, spending time with my friends and family has been so amazing this last couple of weeks. It's been great to say "hi" to people I used to see all the time, I really feel like I've learned so much form my experiences while I've been up in Logan, but it's great to come back and see everyone... now I just am little torn: where do I call home--Orem or Logan? To me, they really both feel like home. I have so many friends and experiences in both places that I really feel at home in both. I have a wonderful ward, roommates, and I've made so many friends at my Logan home; but it's great to see my brothers, parents, high school and Stake Single's Ward friends when I come home to Orem.
I guess home to me is really just wherever I lay my head down at night. I really am home in both places.
Thank you Orem and Logan friends and family who've helped me feel at home wherever I am.
My thoughts and experiences as I go through this adventure called "life" with my husband and our cute daughters.

Future Missionary!
I have always wanted to be a missionary, and have been rather jealous of my guy friends who can start turning in mission papers, getting calls and leaving on missions right now because I have to wait until I'm 21. However, I recently realized how crazy and practically nonexistent my sleeping schedule was, so as an effort to fix that, I decided that I would begin a modified missionary schedule last night/this morning. It is:
7:00- wake up, get ready
7:30- scripture study and breakfast
8:00- Job hunting (although, I might have an interview in the next couple of days, so I'm not so sure how long this will last.)
8:15- Exercise (No I haven't gained the Freshman 15, but I am a little flabbier than i used to, and would like to be. Besides, missions require a lot of walking and being physically fit would be a wise direction to head to.)
8:45- Leave for day. (This starts next semester, since this semester my earliest class starts at 8:30. Right now I leave at about 8:20 since my class is just across the street.)
-----------Classes, homework and (hopefully) work------------
10:00- Return home, scripture study, ect
11:00- Bedtime/Lights out
Now, I'm telling people this, partly because I'm way excited for the prospect of eventually serving a mission, but also because I know I'll be all for it and dedicated for a while, but normally I get to a point when I loose my motivation. That's where I would LOVE your help. If you ever think of it, you should email, text or call me to see how I'm doing. If you can, that would be wonderful. if not, I understand. Just thought I's ask. :)
Anyway, I wish everyone luck on finals as they come up, and I hope you have a great Break, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Love?
Why is it that when you finally think you know what love is, that you find some other point of view? I've already agreed with my friend's post "What *IS* love?" but I've come to realize that I really don't know if what I'm feeling is love. Can I love someone, while still missing his hugs? Do I really know what love is? Am I ready for true, eternal love? So many friends considering some of these same questions has NOT made the solutions/answers any clearer.
It's so amazing to have the Church to help with answers like these. Sure, it may not say specifically "yes" or "no" lds.org: Love is a great link that has helped calm my fears.

Thank you!!!
My friend Drinda, from work, posted this poster on her blog. I stole it. (Hopefully she can forgive me.) But it's fantastic! I love the picture and quote she used to make it; it's fantastic!
Thank you Drinda, and all my friends and family who have made me feel so loved!
I hope all of you really do know how grateful I am for your friendships and examples. You are always such amazing supports and anchors in my life. You have such amazing testimonies! Thanks for making me feel like a beautiful flower and daughter of God! You are all so wonderful and kind. Thanks for the times you have supported me through struggles and have strengthened my testimony. I know we each have our struggles and hardships, but each of you have been an angel in my life!

Dear Prince Charming....: What *IS* love?
I stole this from my friend (with minor editing) and VERY much agree!! follow the link to read the rest if you so desire.
"Dear Prince Charming, I am like most girls, and so therefore, yes. I like someone right now. I've liked him for over 6 months (well longer, but that's too long of a story for right now), and at this ..."

AH!!! We're All growing up!!
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! It's so weird to realize how much we're really growing up!!!! I just got of the phone with my friend Krystle. She's ENGAGED!!!!!!! Congratulations Krystle!!!
But it is so weird to think how much we're growing up. It actually scares me a little to think that that could be me soon! I'm so excited for the future and what it will bring, but there's still the unknown. The many "what if"s someday that will be me, but for now I'm waiting for what's in store. And I'm so excited for Krystle!!!!

HvZ
Brice Colby (USU's on campus housing activities coordinator) is pretty stinking amazing! Haha, he organized a weeklong, campus-wide game of Humans vs Zombies. HvZ is a game of survival, the goal is for each team to win. In order to win if you're a Zombie, you must tag a human at least every 48hrs and have turned all the humans into Zombies before Friday at midnight. In order to win as a human, you must still be surviving Friday at midnight. (if you want the official rules, go to http://zombieaggies.hvzsource.com/rules.php That's the website for USU's game, but it's and international game started by Goucher College in Baltimore. Because Goucher is the only school in the US that requires students to participate in study abroad, the game spread and is now played at over 200 colleges and universities world-wide. More info on the history of HvZ, go to http://humansvszombies.org/about
It has been fun so far... well the all of 25 minutes I've really been able to play so far: I have had classes almost all day and so I didn't really get to play, and I got turned into a zombie right before one of them started, then I'd only had 10 min to get across campus to another, THEN as I got out to finally be able to play, I got stunned.... So yeah, it's been fun... sorta... I kinda wish I cared enough to really get into it.
But still. I'm excited for tomorrow when I can really start playing: I only have 2 classes and they're separated by 3 hours of break time. (Which in case you were wondering is normally REALLY boring!!! Not to mention makes it difficult to get a job :P ) At the time of this posting, there are 51 Zombies and 760 Humans, but I doubt that number is accurate anymore, zombies have been "poppin' [up] like daisies!" (Haha, name that movie, it's slightly edited, so if you really want the original, let me know.)
Anyway, here's the first really exciting thing that's happened since I've been here at USU, so I thought I'd let everyone know about it.

Michaela has a blog?!?
Well, I was bored after finishing all my homework and even scouting out scholarships when I remembered that I promised I'd keep in contact with everyone after I moved to Logan. I'm not sure if I've done a good job or not, but in case I haven't, I decided I'd start a blog. (I'm still willing to write everyone of you'd like a more personal update.)
I have been enrolled for almost 2 months at USU, and have been loving it! My favorite class is actually US Institutions which really surprised me since government is really biased I usually can't stand it, but I've really enjoyed it. I've also rediscovered and pursued my new love: partner dancing. I am currently enrolled in a beginning Social and Ballroom dance class which is where I discovered Dance United: a dance club that meets every Thursday on campus that focuses on just about every partner dance (Big Band Swing, Country Swing (I think), Standard Ballroom and Latin.) From there I learned about Salsa Night which is every Tuesday night, just off campus. I've only been to Salsa Night once so far (thanks A LOT midterms! :P), but I really enjoyed it. Now that I have a bike light (and midterms are over), I hope to be able to attend more frequently.
Well, I'm not well trained on blogging yet, so that's all for now, but I'd love to hear from everyone too! Haha, thanks for being my friends.
