HvZ

Brice Colby (USU's on campus housing activities coordinator) is  pretty stinking amazing! Haha, he organized a weeklong, campus-wide game of Humans vs Zombies. HvZ is a game of survival, the goal is for each team to win. In order to win if you're a Zombie, you must tag a human at least every 48hrs and have turned all the humans into Zombies before Friday at midnight. In order to win as a human, you must still be surviving Friday at midnight. (if you want the official rules, go to http://zombieaggies.hvzsource.com/rules.php That's the website for USU's game, but it's and international game started by Goucher College in Baltimore. Because Goucher is the only school in the US that requires students to participate in study abroad, the game spread and is now played at over 200 colleges and universities world-wide. It has been fun so far... well the all of 25 minutes I've really been able to play so far: I have had classes almost all day and so I didn't really get to play, and I got turned into a zombie right before one of them started, then I'd only had 10 min to get across campus to another, THEN as I got out to finally be able to play, I got stunned.... So yeah, it's been fun... sorta... I kinda wish I cared enough to really get into it.

But still. I'm excited for tomorrow when I can really start playing: I only have 2 classes and they're separated by 3 hours of break time. (Which in case you were wondering is normally REALLY boring!!! Not to mention makes it difficult to get a job :P ) At the time of this posting, there are 51 Zombies and 760 Humans, but I doubt that number is accurate anymore, zombies have been "poppin' [up] like daisies!" (Haha, name that movie, it's slightly edited, so if you really want the original, let me know.)

Anyway, here's the first really exciting thing that's happened since I've been here at USU, so I thought I'd let everyone know about it.
